Drake Controls Joins Score Group

In May 2025, Drake Controls LLC became part of Score Group, the international engineering services group serving the energy, defense, and aerospace sectors.

Founded in Houston in 2002, Drake Controls has grown into one of Woodward’s largest global channel partners and a Woodward Recognized Turbine Retrofitter — providing digital control solutions, parts distribution, repair, and field service for industrial gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, and reciprocating engines from locations across the US and Mexico.

For our customers, nothing about how you work with Drake changes: the same team, the same stocking locations, the same 24/7 emergency response, and the same Woodward relationship — now backed by Score Group’s global infrastructure and resources. Score’s announcement noted the acquisition “significantly expands the company’s digital capabilities, positioning it at the forefront of intelligent control solutions for industrial gas turbines.”
