Drake Controls is a Woodward Recognized Turbine Retrofitter and one of Woodward’s largest global channel partners. Founded in 2002, we provide parts distribution, retrofits, repair, field service, and training for rotating equipment and turbomachinery controls worldwide.
In May 2025, Drake Controls was acquired by Score Group plc, a global engineering services company. We continue to operate under the Drake Controls name with the backing of a worldwide organization.
Woodward Recognized Turbine Retrofitter
Drake is one of a small number of Woodward-authorized partners qualified to perform turbine control retrofits using the latest Woodward platforms. Our engineering team specializes in Peak 200 and PNEU-TRIP retrofits for steam turbines across mechanical drive and power generation service.
What We Do
Parts & Distribution
Woodward and Dynalco parts shipped from stocking locations across the US and Mexico. Distribution represents roughly half of our business.
Retrofits & Upgrades
Turbine control retrofits using Peak 200, PNEU-TRIP, 505 series, ProTech, and other current Woodward platforms.
Repair & Overhaul
Factory-authorized repair and overhaul of Woodward hydraulic and electronic products including governors, actuators, control valves, and electronic controls. All components returned to OEM standards.
Field Service
24/7 emergency response with Woodward factory-trained technicians and field engineers. Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair worldwide.
Training
Hands-on training for operators and technicians on new and legacy Woodward control systems. Delivered at any of our facilities or on-site at yours.
