The Woodward UG-Actuator replaces UG-8 type governors on engines and turbines, providing electronic control and load sharing advantages while using the existing UG-8 drive and linkage. With a self-contained oil sump, optional integrated MPU, and standard UG-8 output components, the UG-Actuator is ideal for converting mechanically governed engines to electronic control with minimal retrofit changes.

- Standard output: 20 J (15 ft-lb) work over 42° rotary travel
- Self-contained oil sump — no separate oil supply needed
- Low speed pump (375–1,100 rpm) or high speed pump (600–1,500 rpm)
- Optional oil cooler for high drive speed or ambient temperature
- Ideal for unattended start installations

- Woodward torque motor converts 20–160 mA signal to proportional position
