Synchro-Start Products was acquired by Woodward in May of 2003. Synchro-Start Products specialized in the design and manufacture of actuators, solenoids, and controls for industrial engines and equipment. Woodward has continued to manufacture a majority of Synchro-Start’s engine control products, labeled under Woodward’s APECS product line.
The state-of-the-art APECS (Advanced Proportional Engine Controls System) digital governor system provides the flexibility to solve most engine control applications, including:
